“get ～ over with”という表現には、
「（面倒な仕事など）をやってしまう、片付ける、終わらせる」
という意味があります。

“Let’s get this over with.”や“Let’s get it over with.”と言うと、
「さっさとやってしまおう」「さっさと片付けてしまおう」
「さっさと終わらせよう」などという意味になります。

嫌なことやうんざりすることなど、あまりやりたくないけれど
やらなくてはならないことをする場合に用いられる表現ですね。

映画「ショーシャンクの空に」のセリフで用いられています。
