“along with ～”という表現には、
「（人）と一緒に、（人）とともに；（人）と協力して」
「（物・事）に加えて、～のほかに；～とともに、～と同時に」
などという意味があります。

この“along with ～”という表現は、
海外ドラマ「The West Wing（ザ・ホワイトハウス）#101」
のセリフで用いられています。

大統領の怪我の状態を説明した後、

Susanne are distributing. Along with pool photographs

「詳細はリンダとスザンヌが配布する代表取材記事を御覧ください。

と言っていますね。
ここで用いられている“pool”は、泳ぐための「プール」ではなく、
代表取材記者のことを指し、提携メディアの間で共用する記事のための
取材をする記者団という意味合いになります。
この“pool”は、形容詞的に、
「共用の」という意味で用いられる場合もあります。
ですから、このLindaとSusanneというのは、代表取材記者で、
彼女らが取材した記事と写真を配布するということを
言っているわけですね。
まぁ、大統領が再度転んだ時の写真付きというのは、
C.J.流のユーモアだと思いますが＾＾；

コーヒーに招いている。そこで、話し合いをして・・・」
と言いかけると、それを受けて、Joshが、
“What they want to hear.” 「彼らのご機嫌をとる。」
と言っていますね。
ここでは、“talk about what they want to hear”
（彼らが聞きたいことについて話し合う）ということから、
「彼らのご機嫌をとる」というような意味合いになりますね。
